Marie Rieber

Program Associate

Marie’s areas of expertise include developing and maintaining confidential client files, supporting and oversee online reporting of case details and scheduling client appointments. She also successfully corresponds with counselors regarding case management; monitors and assists with grant accounts, budget and manage related files; and provides outreach support, including marketing and print materials. Marie enjoys preparing and distributing newsletters as well as supporting training, events and outreach.

Marie supports the day-to-day management of operations and activities. She is responsible for SBDC general office communications, interfacing with clients and paraprofessional administrative and programmatic work. Marie’s experience includes almost five years as a collections manager/curator for local history museums and over ten years at IBM providing technical support to clients and writing and editing technical documents. She currently participates in the UWL Employee Enrichment Day Committee to plan and implement an annual professional training event.
