The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center’s (SBDC) Digital Marketing Clinic (DMC) is collaborating with the Rock County SBDC and the SBDC at UW-Eau Claire to bring their services to two free events.
The first event, Lets Talk Social: Mastering Short Form Video Creation for your Small Business, is a Lunch and Learn hosted by Rock County SBDC on Thursday, August 17 at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville. If you are a Rock County business owner, register today!
Video creation is essential for social media marketing success. Without video included in your strategy, a business loses out on valuable reach and engagement potential with their target audiences. This interactive workshop will include a step-by step demonstration of how to effectively use the free version of the Capcut video editing tool.
“I’m really excited about the upcoming workshop with the Digital Marketing Clinic,” said Rock County SBDC consultant Kathryn Jackson. “Marketing is such an important part of business and often is a huge challenge for small business owners. I’m excited for the team to come back and share more free marketing tips and tricks with Rock County business owners. I also love that this workshop will focus on video. After the successful event last year, I was excited to invite the DMC team to provide business owners an opportunity to enhance their skills in terms of creating video.”
The second collaboration, Eau Claire Small Business Clinic, will take place on Wednesday, August 23 at the SBDC at UW-Eau Claire office from 12:00-6:30PM. If you are an Eau Claire area small business owner, register now!
“We are so excited to collaborate with the Oshkosh DMC team, have our students connect, and through the process provide impactful resources to local small businesses. This is collaboration at its finest,” said Eau Claire SBDC interim director Harlie Juedes.
